title : White & Swift ?
As you stroll down the 34 degree streets of Edmonton in your '93 Honda Civic, that you are forced to drive thanks to our suffering economy, you probably have heard the "talented" 19 year old pop country "superstar" Taylor Swift. Your tiny speakers fill your ears with her songs of broken hearts and lost boyfriends over and over and over again. Personally I think she's terrible. Her music sounds the same and auto tune can make almost anyone a superstar ... even Stephen Hawking. This music has infected our radio stations and tainted our generation of music and now it plans to infiltrate a real musician, Jack White. You read right, Taylor Swift and Jack White. What the fuck. Why does a blond, southern teenager want to collaborate with Jack White ? I quote, " ... cause he's awesome." That's great Taylor, Jesus is awesome but U2 didn't collaborate with him. Swift has a lot of topics she could cover --- being a pop star, touring, fame, reading about herself in the gossip pages --- but she's not divulging what she'll be touching on in the her next album. So it's safe to assume it will be about boys and relationships. I congratulate her for coming this far in her musical career but I would appreciate if she remembered a lot of people don't like her and that she shouldn't collaborate with talented musicians when she is as talented as a sloth. So in the near future while strolling down -27 degree streets of Edmonton you might catch a listen of Taylor Swift and Jack White playing a love song together and a pig fly across the sky as a child rides a unicorn to school.
