+Excuse my lack of posts, been really busy and pretty much just lazy, as usual. Shoot me. Now, I really haven't much to talk about in the world of pop culture so I'm gonna just throw some more of my opinions out there. If your a student without a license or a car you probably take Edmonton Transit. You know, that shitty service with overcrowded buses, senile and grouchy drivers, and the pungent smell of hobo piss and middle school body odor. But, we all take it, because it gets us around. It's cheap and insurance is way too expensive. Is it just me or are the drivers complete jerks? Like, your running for the bus. You woke up late from staying up all night doing some stupid assignment or studying your ass off and your running late. The bus is in sight so you bolt for it. You grab your shoulder straps and make a sprint for your only ride to school. You wave your hand to the driver, he looks at you, and pulls away. In that brief moment you stand on the concrete, half awake, and the bus, that you were supposed to be on, draws farther away from your view. Douche bag. Now, we students have a lot of stress as it is and I completely understand that a bus driver runs on a schedule, but when you see someone booking it to get on the bus. Stop. Just stop. Take the broom out of your butt and stop the bus. Second, bus pass prices are getting higher and higher. It's seriously unrealistic. The student specials are OK, but does anyone know the price of an Edmonton Transit Monthly bus pass? 79 dollars. 79. That's how much you pay to rub against some greasy balding man for 30 minutes. No wonder people drive cars. That's 20 bucks a week in gas. Meh, but that's just the way I see it. I think the city should make public transit more affordable, convenient, and all around better.
