title : It's Over Santa. Come Home.
+Well kids, we had a good run. Last night Victoria School's production of Irving Berlin's White Christmas wrapped up it's final performance and what a performance it was. We belted out that last note and watched as the final pieces of snow touched the theater floor. For some people it was their final show on that stage and for that I dedicate this blog to those wonderful actors. We did an amazing job and I'm so glad to have worked with you guys while your still around and not all becoming the stars I know you all will one day be. It makes me think what it'll be like when I take my final moment on that stage, that last breathe, the last bow. I can't tell you for sure but it certainly got me thinking of "the ends" of things in life. You don't ever want them to happen but eventually they do. I know that I didn't want to take that last bow last night but I knew that it was going to happen and I would either have to face the audience with a smile and soak in every last cheer from the audience or feel bad that it was all coming to an end. These choices are the hardest in life I guess. But, no matter how you deal with the ending of things you always can look back and smile at the beginnings and how great they were til the end. And for all those who shared the stage with me last night, it truly was great. I look forward to working with you more and more in the future because even if tonight you made that big choice and you had to face the audience for the last time, I give you a standing ovation. I smile at 'what was' but I can't wait for what 'will be'. It's been fun. Happy Holidays! 19 Days Til Christmas. Sorry, I don't 'X' out Christ. Love John Lovett ps. See you in American Clock!
