+What's up? How're you? You look great! I'm not weird. This is just me trying to avoid the barrage of questions of why I have allowed the lackage of my posting to commence and the disappearing of my wit. It's exam week bitches, I believe in previous posts I warned about this dark omen looming over the world of learning and teaching. The time has come when we are herded into an ominous gymnasium and tested to prove our knowledge on the aspects of life. It's one of the most nerve-wrecking things in the world and once again, we, students, are forced to brave it. So, pick up your arms men (and women) and slam down those textbooks because the enemy is brutal. I too have seen the worst of the battle. I have heard the terrible cries of lost souls as they are passed and judged by something they call a Scantron. You must not let the same fate fall upon your shoulders! As you walk upon the tarp and place yourself in the war zone, remain confident! Hold your pencil high and proud. If you have done all the necessary training prior to fighting the enemy, you should be basking in the glory of utter triumph soon enough. In all seriousness, exams are completely unfair. How are you supposed to do your best when you're completely uncomfortable? Surrounded by strangers, no sounds, no nice colors, nothing! It would help if you could bring in a picture of a serene place or Jesus Christ. Something to inspire or raise your comfortability bar. I understand it's a good idea to make it unfamiliar so students don't cheat but is it necessary to make it feel like Auchwitz? I guess there's nothing we can really do about this situation though. We just have to brave it. Study hard kids. Study hard.
